Anyone approved by the Administrator can set up an account, with their own home page. Approval is required to protect the privacy of living persons shown here. You can
- theme your view (from your member account);
- rearrange blocks of text on your welcome page;
- add or edit individuals and notes.
Any changes you make to the data must be approved by the Administrator. When the site opens, a thumbnail of a deceased (and so "public") person will be shown. This will change when you log in. The tree is visible to unregistered persons, but details (including images) of living people are hidden. Anyone born more than 120 years ago is assumed no longer to be with us.
Mailing List: All users will be added to the Mailing List, which is entirely separate. You can join the Mailing List without becoming a subscriber. If subscribers update their contact details, they will need to update their list details as well (sorry.) The page is here.

site has a (limited)
capacity for RSS
newsfeeds, which is not working in the current release of phpGedView.
