A belated Merry Christmas to all!

This link came from the English Rootsweb mailing list.  There is a photo of 
the letter.  It was written in 1911 in Dublin, and lodged on a ledge in the 
chimney.  It was only slightly charred.  The warmth would have kept mildew at 
bay.

It could happen only in Ireland!
